

Amy Everett Wilson, born on March 28, 1951, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at the age of 74. She was a loyal member of the Houston community and had a remarkable career in both the SCI funeral industry and in accounting at Principal Management Group. Amy was also a proud alumni of St. Agnes Academy.
Amy’s life was defined by her love for reading, fashion, shopping, and her deep connection to the rich heritage of Houston. She was impeccably dressed and had an unmistakable sense of style, which was always admired. Her favorite genres were historical fiction, thriller and mysteries. Soul music played continuously in her car.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lee Wilson; her parents, Roger H. Everett and Cecelia A. Everett; and her brother, John Woodley Everett. Amy leaves behind a cherished family, including her sister, Yvette Brown (Jeffrey); brother-in-law, Tommy Wilson (Mary Beth); and her two beloved aunts, Glorine and Theresa Glaser. Amy also leaves behind 17 first cousins, who will remember her with love.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Houston firefighters, EMS, and the HCA hospital system for their skill and support during her illness. A special thank you to Hailey Garner, Amy’s third cousin, for her compassion, and loving care during Amy’s final months.
Amy’s memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
