Andre Previn Kerwinsky Hester was born on May 8, 1969 in Houston, Texas. His proud parents, Evelyne Hester and John B. Wilson, immediately began showering him with love. He was their "Baby Boy" with bedazzling brown eyes. Adre was born and raised in the Kashmere Gardens area of Houston, better known as "KG" to its residents. He accepted Christ at an early age. He grew up in Zion Hill Missionary Ba[tist Church, under the pastorial leadership of the late, great Rev. C. L. Punch. As a young boy, he joined the Junior Usher Board, under the direction of the late Sister Alma Covington. From youth through adulthood, he was a faithful usher along wth his older brother, Gregory and nephews, Valdez and Krejchi. Great Christian discipline, along with a godly home training, gave Andre a foundation for his character that radiated throughout his lifetime. Andre met no strangers. He knew everybody's name, family members, and most likely, their age. He knew Kashmere Gardens inside and out. He was kind-hearted, sharing and caring, not to mention handsome. He rededicated his life to Christ and answered his call to preach the gospel at North Star Baptist Church International in February 2015. Andre was aprofessional truck driver. He was employed by Southern Concrete, Inc., where he trained other co-workers to drive. He was skilled and patient, according to his co-workers. He loved them and they loved him. His colleagues fondly referred to him as "the big SHOW" or "SHOW". Rev. Andre Hester left this earthly life and went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2015. He was proceded in death by his parents, J.B. Wilson and Evelyne Wilson; his siblings, Gwendolyn, Jimmy Lee and Eloise. Andre leaves to cherish his memory: four beautiful daughters, Andrea, Asia, Annie, and Ashley; sisters, Mildred Ann (John Nathan) and Betty Jean; brothers, Paul James, Lawrence Gerard, Gregory Benjamin, and Michael Anthony; nephews, Valdez, Krejchi, Lawrence, Jr., Robert, Jr., Paul Julian, Stephan James, John Jerome, Gregory, Jr., Glenn Roy, Chris, Jerome, Troy and Robert; nieces Kanteetza, Deandra, LaTara and Sheila; and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, other relatives, and many good friends and associates.
