

Angelina Zapata Aguirre, age 85, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Born in Galveston, Texas, she was a wonderful cook, who was heartwarming, generous, truly loved her family and she worked for Weiner’s Department Store for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Albertha Zapata; great grandson, Michael Anthony Aguirre; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Survived by husband of 67 years, Jesse F. Aguirre; children, Annie Aguirre, Alfonso Aguirre and wife Dora, Birdie Bain and husband Gary Westbrook, and Cindy Lozano and husband George; grandchildren, Michael Aguirre and wife Yolanda, Roy Galvan and wife Natalie, Mark Galvan, Sr. and wife Laura, Jesse Bain and wife Kelsey McGuire, Bradley Bain, Joe Westbrook and wife Sara, Cody Westbrook, Lina Lozano, Teresa Lozano, and Nikki Lozano; great grandchildren, Sesly Robuck and husband Travis, Malissa Aguirre, Michael Aguirre, Kamran Galvan, Katie Galvan, Chris Galvan, Lindsey Galvan, Mark Galvan, Jr.,Aidan Westbrook, and Jude Bain; great great granddaughter, Hunter Grace Galvan; sister, Janie Quintero and husband Edward; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell, Houston, Texas 77022. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
