Angelina Marie Joslin, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on August 20, 1939, in Houston, Texas. Raised in a family of seven wonderful brothers, she was the youngest of them all.
In her early years of education, she attended Holy Name Catholic School and continued through the 8th grade at Resurrection.
She worked in sales at a retail store named Danburg's early in life, prior to getting married and eventually becoming a full-time housewife and devoted mother to a son and daughter. She was a perfect mother who always had faith in the Lord Jesus. Her unwavering faith guided her love and care for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was actively involved in the Catholic Church and was raised in a family that had migrated from Palermo, Sicily. She had a strong faith and deep commitment to the Church. She became the prayer warrior of our large family, a role passed down by her mother. Angelina remained dedicated and loyal to those who knew her—especially her family—always with a kind, gentle spirit and sincere love for everyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Grizzaffi; her brothers Luke, Sam, Johnnie, Joe, Vincent, Benny, and Anthony Grizzaffi; and many beautiful sisters-in-law whom she adored. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George A. Manos, and her second husband, Rex A. Joslin.
She is survived by her two children: Alex Manos and his wife Vicki Manos; Deborah Williams and her husband Gary Williams. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Morgan Decker and her husband Albert Decker, and Aris Manos and his wife Caroline Manos; along with two great-grandchildren, Paisley Moffitt and Amelia Moffitt. Extended family includes Kyle Williams and his wife Angela Williams and their children, Cooper and Charli; Kara Vickers and her children, Peyton, Brali, and Madelyn; Kallee Meyer and her husband Keith Meyer and their children, Cameron, Hunter, and Maysen. She also leaves behind a wonderful family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Angelina will be remembered most for her generous heart. She donated to many causes—animal organizations, religious charities, first responders, and cancer research, to name a few. Even while living on Social Security, she continued to give, often going without to support others. Many stray animals found their way to her home, and none ever left hungry—she made sure of that.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for their team of nurses and assistants for their unwavering dedication and compassionate care in her final days. They went above and beyond the call of duty, softening our pain and guiding us through the process. Our mother loved them dearly, and we are so grateful they were part of our lives during this time.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our mother’s loyal and loving caretaker, Sandra, for her years of dedication and for making Mom feel so special. Thank you.
During her last rites, the priest—though she was asleep—told her that her job here was not done as a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and encouraged her to continue praying for us as she unites with the Lord in Heaven. Rest assured, we will still be covered in her prayers. Believers don’t die—they go home.
You leave a void in our hearts and will be so loved and missed—until we meet again.
