
Ann was born January 28, 1961, in Houston, to Pedro and Berta Moreno. She attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts and graduated from the University of Houston.
She was a loving and proud mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, sister and friend. She was a devoted Houston sports fan and loved all things Mickey Mouse. She was friendly and outgoing, a life-long photographer, beloved Girl Scout leader, proud University of Houston alumna, the life of the party wherever she was, and enjoyed careers in both television production and with the Southwest Airlines family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Berta Moreno, and by her brothers, Luis Carlos and Jose Armando Moreno.
Ann is survived by her husband Manuel Mejias, Jr.; her children, Amy (Alan) Charnock, Erica (Cody) Moore, and Isabel Pen; her step-children, Homero (Thais) Delgado, Jennifer Mejias, and Megan White; her grandchildren, Earnest, Jonathan, Theodore, Philip, Jackson, Owen, Julian, Evelyn, Sebastian, Andrea, Camila, and Ulysses; her siblings Peter K. Moreno (Howard Kanelakos), Theresa Gallegos (late Senator Mario V. Gallegos, Jr.); her nieces and nephews Aurelio Jose Moreno, Melissa (Hector Hernandez) Gallegos, Ali (Bill) Templer, Luis Moreno, Carlos Moreno, Mario Elias Gallegos; her great-nieces and great-nephews Jake, Jesse, Teresa, Cristina, Hollis, Angelique, Pablo, Josiah, and Evelyn Grace. She will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends.

A funeral mass for Ann will be held Tuesday, August 29th at 1pm at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 11011 Hall Road. Reception will be held in the Social Hall to follow.
