Born November 5, 1912, in Smithville, Texas, she resided and raised her family in Houston, Texas. Anna Louise was an active member of Oaklawn Presbyterian Church. She was a loyal servant to God and her community by teaching Sunday school and preparing communion.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann Rider, grandchildren; Amanda R. Trotter and her husband Bradley, Melissa R. Chambers and her husband Steve, Timothy A. Rider and his wife Stacy, and Alicia R. Kothmann and her husband Kolin, her seven great grandchildren and her sister Frankie Stokey and her husband Ernest.
Anna Louise was preceded in death by her husband Robert Johnnie Turner and her sister Imogene Eberle.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, March 8th, 2011, from five o'clock until seven o’clock in the evening and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, at ten o'clock in the morning at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home and cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made in Anna Louise’s memory to The Salvation Army, 12111 Louetta, Houston, TX 77070.
