Aurora "Ora" Arispe

Ora Arispe, age 82, went to her beloved Lord on Wednesday September 22, 2010. Ora was born November 23, 1927, in Houston Texas to Joe and Angelita Aguilar. Ora married Gene Arispe in Houston Texas. Gene and Ora celebrated 48 years of a wonderful marriage.

Ora’s greatest enjoyment in life was her husband Gene, children Craig, Jimmy and Robin and her service to the Lord. Ora was an incredible giving person. She will be best remembered for her smile, laughter, love of life itself and unconditional love. From her we learned to stand by the family we love, embrace our unique differences and maintain an unwavering dedication to our faith and the church. She was a dedicated member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 38 years. Ora taught us to hold steadfast as a family during the most difficult of times and to live life to the fullest as if each day were our last.

Ora is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene and sons Jimmy and Robin Arispe. She is survived by her son Craig Arispe, sister Francis Reyes and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 8:00 p.m. Friday September 24, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 25, 2010 at the Trinity Lutheran Church 5201 Spring Cypress Road.
