Aurora Z. Richarte, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home in Houston, Texas surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 17, 2019. She was born May 5, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Eugenio and Jovita Zavala.
Aurora is preceded in death by her husband Natividad Richarte, oldest daughter Rebecca Torres, parents Eugenio and Jovita Zavala, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
On July 17, 1949 Aurora married Natividad Richarte in Georgetown, Texas. Together they created a beautiful life that will forever be cherished by her children Mario Richarte (Yolanda), Elizabeth Castillo (Richard), son-in-law Amando Torres Jr., 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Rosary recited at 7:00pm. Church Services will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
