Barbara E. Beck

Devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by daughter Marie Annette Beck, father William H. Miller, mother Margaret R. Steinbach Miller, brother William Barrett Miller.

Survived by son James C. Beck and wife Celia of Madison, AL; son Edgar L. Beck and wife Janet of Pearland, TX; daughter Rae Nell Larson and husband Tom of Keller, TX; grandsons James C. Beck, Jr., Robert Joseph Beck, William A. Beck, Ryan M. Beck, Jonathan J. Beck, Clint Lawson; granddaughters Stephanie Saveriano and husband Christopher; Mary E. Beck, Daniele Donaldson and Brandy Donaldson. Also, great-grandsons, John C. Saveriano, Joseph S. Saveriano and great-granddaughters, Sophia Rose Saveriano, Paige Maddison House. Eight nieces, two nephews; 20 cousins, and friends Susan Beck, Gayle Beardsley, and Santos Flores.

Retired from HL&P in 1987. Held offices in school and district PTA's, Den Mother for two Cub Scout Packs, Little League Team Mother. As a girl, member of Girl Scouts and Rainbow Girls.

Family visitation service to be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home,Monday,May 16,6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral services Tuesday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m.Interment is pending at a later date at Galveston County Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.
