Barbara Ramirez, 57, of Houston, TX. passed away peacefully on October 14, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a very happy, loving, and caring person. She had a big heart and was always smiling and laughing. Her favorite was shopping and being out in the water and in the sun. Barbara leaves to cherish her memories her children; Jacqueline Gonzales, and George Ramirez Jr., grandchildren; Phillip Garcia, and George Ramirez III, brothers; Ray Ybarra, Ronnie Ybarra, Robert Ybarra, Romeo Ybarra, Rudy Ybarra, sisters; Yvonne Ybarra, Yvette Galvan, Sarah Ybarra, Sylvia Ybarra, her loving Boyfriend; John Gonzales, who was always by her side, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and also her dog (doodies). A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 5-9pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 1pm In the Main Chapel with interment to follow.
