Benjamin G. Rodriguez, 82 yrs old, Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico, Houston TX, passed March 12, 2026.Benjamin was born to Celedonio Rodriguez and Josefa Gonzalez, May 09, 1943, in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico.
He completed high school during his time in the U.S. Army in 1966. He married Mary Louise Garcia in August of 1963, and they lived together in Houston, TX. Together they raised 4 children.
He is survived by: his two siblings Paul and Samuel Rodriguez and children: Benjamin G Rodriguez Jr.(Renee Guillot), Deanna M. Mena(
Robert Mena), Sara R. Chagoya (Jesus Chagoya), Daniel Rodriguez
(Rosa Salas). Grandchildren: Bailey Rodriguez spouse Allison, Benjamin G Rodriguez III, Robert E. Mena spouse Nina, Matthew Mena spouse Laura, Desiree A. Chagoya spouse Ben Garcia, J. Noeangel Chagoya, Nathaniel and Gabriella Mary Rodriguez. Great-grandchildren: Annika and Riley Mena and Marina Rae Garcia.
He was preceded in death by wife Mary Louise Rodriguez. Parents Celedonio Rodriguez and Josefa Gonzalez, sisters Raquel Arcizo and Celsa Delgado, brothers Antonio, Daniel and Jose Rodriguez.
Benjamin worked as a machine operator for Maxwell House Coffee Internation for over 40 years.He enjoyed gardening, working on his cars and machinery and carpentry.
