Just learned the passing of Ben and deeply saddened by this news.  Ben and I worked together when DHS was first organized.  We became quick friends and great co-workers.  He often talked about his family with great pride.

We will always remember our many, many, many good times with our dear and loving friend, Benall the thunderous laughter shared until we turned red, jokes told until tears filled our eyes, funny dances and serious ones too, sharing and spending time at our GSA golf tournaments, wine tasting at Quantico, socials at the GSA picnics and events, and songs like Someday, Ben, and many of his favorite Beatle songs like While My Guitar Gently Weeps sung with or to him.  We will truly miss a great and awesome friend who we have always considered family.  May our forgiving God cleanse him of all his earthly sins, welcome him in heaven with a hug we will never receive back, and love him dearly as we have never loved him before.  Thank you dear God for giving us the privilege of knowing and sharing life experiences with Ben and may he rest in eternal peace by your side always.

My memories of Benny was a beautiful man and elegant individual. Pleasant voice and full of knowledge. Just the little time I spoke to him you knew he was very special. My condolences to his family and friends.
