

She married Lawrence Jack Baca on April 10, 1945. She worked for Continental Can Company for 46 years.
Betty Lou was a wonderful Daughter, Wife, Sister, & Aunt. Betty Lou was a member of the Southeast Church of Christ. All her family and friends will miss Betty Lou.
She was always there, lending a helping hand to everyone. She had wonderful skills in painting, wallpapering, replacing wicker on the back of chairs, restoring furniture, and pictures. She could do it all and never hesitated to help anyone. She loved ancestry history, and she knew so much about the family. She wrote a book and a cookbook, with family recipes.
Betty Lou is survived by her Sister, Johnette Pidge, and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was a Great-Aunt who made 5 generations.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Lawrence Jack, her Parents, her 5 Sisters, and 3 Brothers. Armenia Renfro, Gertrude Baker, Justine DeFina. Orliues Jackson, Marie Lawrence, Douglas, Jim L & Desmar Fielder.
She will be missed by all who knew her. Her knowledge of the history of the family and advice on matters that concerned her. That would make us better. She had special love for all of us, and we will keep our memories until we meet again.
A visitation for Betty will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Fwy Rd, Houston, TX 77039.
