Betty Sue Horn

Betty Sue Horn, born April 10, 1925 to Joyce and Lela Campbell in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away June 23, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Horn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David J. Horn. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Meza and husband, Mitchell, and Marilyn Horn; grandchildren, Niles Meza, Michelle Meza, Beau Ryan, and Brad Ryan; brother-in-law, Norman Horn, and other family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Horn were longtime residents of Oak Forest in Houston, where they raised their family. Betty was one of the original members of White Oak Baptist Church, and was very active in the church. She was a fantastic gardener. Betty loved traveling and camping, enjoying time with family and friends. Mr. Horn was an officer with the Houston Police Department, so they had a large circle of friends within the police department. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, Houston, Texas.
