Beverly Charlene Walton

Beverly Charlene (Williford) Walton, ODC, passed from this life on July 5, 2014. She was born on June 17, 1942 to parents Bill and Margaret Williford. Beverly had a long career in administration, retiring from her position as Director of Legal Administration at Texaco, Inc. after 18 years of service. She is a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in New Caney, Texas and is a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Bill. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl McDonald-Hamilton and husband Avery, granddaughters Laura Stine and Heather Vincent, great-granddaughter Allison Stone, mother-in-law Erin Walton, sisters-in-law Madelyn Williford, Linda Cobb, Mary Breithaupt and husband Lonnie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, followed by a rite of committal at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 1100 Parthenon Pl, New Caney, TX 77357.
