Glynn Ferrell
Husband, Father, Brother, Granddad & Friend
On January 22, 2021,
the Lord called Bobby “Glynn” Ferrell home.
“Like it, or like it,” he’d say.
Glynn was born on October 17, 1954. A North Sider his entire life, he was a 1973 graduate of Sam Houston High School where he loved playing basketball. Shortly after graduating, he began working in the warehouse of GE Supply. A man who was never idle, he worked his way up to being a well-respected, knowledgeable, and admired salesman over the last 48 years. He was a mentor, leader, and friend to countless people in the business. In July 1979, he met his red-headed match, Suzanne, and they were married on October 25, 1980. They recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. Glynn was a man of many hobbies and passions. He was never sedentary, and always had multiple projects or tasks at hand to work on. A gun and fishing enthusiast, his favorite place to be was at his property on Lake Sam Rayburn. His wish was to have his ashes spread there.
His spirit will live on walking the property at the cabin…lighting a cigarette, with a rifle on his back and a big black dog at his side.
Glynn is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Ferrell. He is survived by his brother Ricky, his wife Sue, his son Luke and daughter-in-law Jessica, his daughter Audrey and son-in-law Patrick, and his two grandchildren Noah and Logan.
