Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Holdridge, his daughter, Jackie Holdridge formerly of Spring Branch, TX, a sister, Obera Ethridge, and a brother, Earl Lee Holdridge. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Ann Miller from Euless, TX; son, Robert Earl Holdridge from Stephenville, TX; 6 grandchildren; brother, Edwin Lee Holdridge; sister, Ruth Brunette, and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby lived a full life all the way from the cotton fields of West Texas to being a POW in the Korean War to being a successful businessman in Texas. He was an avid member of Alcoholics Anonymous and helped thousands and thousands along the way. He passed with 53 years of continuous sobriety. As he enjoyed doing many things in life, his passion was helping others. He loved his family and was quick to help a stranger. He will be greatly missed by many.
