In memory of Minister Brenda Lavern Guy (age 57), a native of La Marque and Texas City, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 20, 2016 in Katy, TX. She was born on January 2, 1959 in Walker County, TX to Fred Douglas and Willie Mae Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jimmie Lynn and Michael Bogan. She is survived by her loving husband Jeffery Glenn Guy, her three children Tetuone Alicia Ross, Cheesa Nicole Ross-Walker, and Darryl Ervin Ross, Jr., four sisters, three grandchildren, two God children and a host of family and friends. She worked for Durham School Services in La Marque and Hitchcock, TX as the General Manager. She was a member of Ministry of God's Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Apostle Dewayne Broussard, Pastor. Viewing will begin on October 1, 2016 at 10 am and funeral service at 11 am at Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church, Dr. Ivory L. Varner, Pastor, 10120 Hartsook St, Houston, TX 77034.
