He was born in Houston, Texas to the late John and Miriam ‘Kay’ Ferguson on June 15, 1947.
Carl poured his heart and soul into his work and family, all the people he touched absolutely admired him.
He is an inventor on 3 U.S. Patents and had a distinguished career with Halliburton after trying his hand at several other endeavors, including serving as a Sergeant in the TX State guard in the mid-sixties. There truly wasn’t anything that Carl couldn’t do, he was a genius. Carl touched everybody’s lives and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel so important and special. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend and stand up for his loved ones should the need for it arise. He kept us safe and had a special talent when touching your life to leave a magical bond that in the end left you knowing he was simply a great man.
A devout believer in Jesus Christ, loyal and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & son, caring friend, good and decent man. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-five years Doris Ferguson, daughter Michelle Robinson, granddaughters Amanda & Emily Robinson. His brother Johnny Ferguson and wife Mary and Sister Beryl Lindsey and husband Doug. Many cousins, many, many nieces & nephews, and all his dear friends.
In his final papers he stated … “I will be waiting and preparing a place for all of you.”
