I remember after Hurricane Harvey I went to visit Aunt Carmen and offered to help her do whatever I could.  She looked at me with a smile and said "look at me I'm all dirty and sweaty" look at my shoes they are all wet. I told her try on my shoes and if they fit you, you may have them. She tried them on and they fit so I gave them to her, I had a pair of flip flops in the car. I  I bought her another pair later.  Aunt Carmen told me look at you you look nice! Which she always gave me nice compliments. See Robert... "you"handsome me looking nice LOL just kidding cuz!!   She was so tired of cleaning,  Aunt Carmen told me.. let's go sit down and have a Bud light! So we did. There are so many memories to recall... She loved to dance as well as my dad Ernest and Uncle Manuel and Aunt Mary... I remember back in 2008 on Easter Sunday we  met up at my dad's shop to have a little get together and I put on Nikki Snake and my dad and Aunt Mary started dancing and next dad got Carmen up to dance Aunt Carmen shy at first but then she got it together. It was a lot of fun actually my dad and Aunt Carmen's birthday were also in that month. We had a lot of fun.

As far back as I can remember, she was the nice person. My mom and dad loved her and Sisto, Cynthia, Ruben a lot. She would send thing for my kids to my mom's. The last time I talked to her she was happy to have my mom back home. Blessed to have had her has a neighbor.
