Carolyn Rose Carroll Fulbright, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 13, 2010. Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who brought love and joy to all those who met her. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 1, 1934. She graduated from Aldine High School, attended business school and worked as a Real Estate Broker before she retired. She was also an ordained minister. She was a long-time member of Lakewood Church and presently a member of Victory Life Fellowship. Carolyn loved Jesus and made it her life’s mission to tell others about the love of Christ. She never met a stranger and never met anyone she did not tell about Jesus and what He had done for her. She was a woman of strong character and will and in spite of her health problems in the last several years she kept active and kept working for the Lord. Carolyn loved swimming, fishing, boating, singing, good food, but most of all she loved her family, her little dog Rosie, her church and worshipping her Lord. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit, her loving smile and a life full of laughter, love and grace.
Carolyn was the daughter of the late Fearl Carroll and Willie Snow Brown Carroll. She is survived by her children Pamela Fulbright-Scheyer and husband Mark; Sam Fulbright and wife Janet; Jeff Fulbright and wife Kim; and her beloved grandchildren Michael Elliot Scheyer, Chase Fulbright, Jonathan Fulbright and Katherine Fulbright.
The family will welcome visitors on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Peters officiating.
