She graduated from The University of Kentucky Nursing School in Lexington, Kentucky. Catherine was a R.N. and retired from Richmond State School. She loved her job. After retiring she volunteered at Helping Hands and the Richmond Library. She enjoyed reading, Texas history and making ceramics at Ceramics by Tess in Katy. Catherine attended Caney Creek Church in Wharton until she couldn’t drive.
Catherine is survived by her three sons, Brian James, Michael Eversole, Eric Eversole and daughter-in-law Chris James; sisters, Elizabeth Bugyi and wife, Kreasi Wagner of Lexington KY and Elaine Casey; nephew, Christopher Casey, his wife Jodi and daughter Faye. She is preceded in death by her parents
Catherine will be cremated and interred in historic Bear Creek Methodist Cemetery.
