Charles Bracci

Charles Lester Bracci Sr. Left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on September 21, 2020. Charles was a lifelong Houstonian. He was a devote Roman Catholic, and a member of Saint Christopher’s Catholic Church.

He leaves behind the love of his life Gloria of 76 years. He is preceded in death by his three sons Charley, Tony and Joe. He leaves behind his daughter Ann Falco and Husband John Falco. He also leaves behind five grand children who he adored, and five great grandchildren.

Charles excelled at high school sports and achieved many accolades. After graduating from Milby High School, he fell in love and married his high school sweet heart.

Duty also called, he joined the Navy and served his country during World War 11.

After his return home from the Navy he went into partnership with his Father to help run the family business. The Texas Statuary Company. A very popular and prosperous carnival supply company that serviced much of the United States. He also owned and managed the family real-estate properties including their duplex apartments and rent houses.

Charles enjoyed all sports, especially watching his three sons play football and baseball. He would always plan ahead to never miss any games that they were playing. He was their biggest fan.

Charles lived his life to the fullest. He loved life and he loved to travel. His favorite stories were about his trips that he took to Italy meeting his Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

He was a man of great integrity. A devoted husband, a loving father, and a wonderful grandfather.

He leaves behind many, many dear friends and family. Charles will truly be missed, but will stay in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 3:00 PM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. The procession will depart from the Grand Chapel.
