Charles Terry "Chad" Cassidy

Chad is survived by his loving mother, Kit Terry Cassidy; father, Donald Turner Cassidy; aunts, Dottie Rucker and husband, Ray, and Susan Craft; uncles, Robert Terry and wife, Ruth, and Stan Terry and wife, Mary Jane; numerous cousins and other extended family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Susie Belle and Robert Leake Terry; grandparents, Christine and George Cassidy, and aunts, Lynne Fryback and Barbara Hill.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home.

Chad loved family, friends, dogs, food and sports and not necessarily in that order. He was oblivious to skin color, ethnicity and social standing. People were drawn to him like bees to honey. More than once, his employer received a personal call, letter or email praising Chad's integrity and technical skills. Many of these praises were from the elderly. We, his family, have our own praises. Praise you, God, for his life and his being "one of us."
