Charles "Fred" Joachim, 68, was born on April 12, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas and passed away on May 18, 2018 in Houston Texas.

Fred dedicated his life to law enforcement and private prison corrections.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cecile Joachim. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Love Joachim; son, Carson Joachim and his wife, Amber; granddaughters, Addison and Camryn Joachim; brother, Mike Joachim and wife, Sandy; sisters, Caroline Eickenhorst and husband, Ernie and Cynthia Abshire and her husband, Norris. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Fred's life will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, with Reverend Bill Cole officiating.
