Charles David Graves

Charles David Graves, age 81, passed from this life on August 24, 2025. Charles was born in Meridian, Texas on February 25, 1944 to parents Clovis Duncan Graves and Virginia Mae Holt Graves. Charles graduated from Baylor University with a master's degree in accounting. He spent the first part of his career as a Commercial Property Manager working for the Cullen Family. In 2003 he entered the banking industry working with Texas Premier Bank and ultimately retiring from the Katy Branch of Allegiance Bank in January 2017.

Charles enjoyed running marathons in his early years, and later golfing, hunting and fishing as well as spending time at the family ranch in Iredale, Texas, where he hoped to eventually live-out his retirement.

Sadly, Charles survived both his children, David Todd Graves and Lisa Michelle Graves, his brother Richard Allen Graves, and both his parents.

Charles is survived by, his nephew and niece, Christopher Allen Graves and Amy Graves Schroeder, along with their children, ex-wife Brenda Powell Graves and many dear friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, September 20, 2025, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. A celebration of his life will be held immediately after at Jakes Sports Bar, 2944 Chimney Rock, Houston, Texas.
