Charles Edward Wright Jr. passed away May 8, 2016. Charles was born May 15, 1939 to Charles E Wright Sr. and Laura D. Wright in Staunton, Virginia, where he attended and graduated Booker T. Washington High School. After which, he joined the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his children Charles E. Wright III and Philip E. Clark. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Wright and his children Laura Denise Wright, Scheryl, Cynthia and nine grandchildren and eight great-grand-children. Services will be held at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 6616 D S Bailey Lane, Houston, TX 77091 on Friday May, 13, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 10:30am. Internment at Veterans Cemetery on Veterans Memorial Blvd.
