Consuelo Astorga

Consuelo Astorga, age 82, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, she was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by father, Julio Fonseca; mother, Guadalupe Fonseca; and brother, Carmen Fonseca. She was loved and survived by her husband of 59 years, Cipriano A. Astorga; daughters, Alice Reese, Julia Astorga-Back and husband Richard, Verna Garcia and husband Julio; sons, Albert Astorga and Andre Astorga and wife Sue; grandchildren, Rhiannon Reese-Root and husband Charles, Christine Medina and husband Lupe, Elijah Reese, Justin Garcia and wife Claudia, Ashley Reese, Ariel “Cookie” Holder and husband Matthew, Alex Garcia, Erik Astorga, Aubrey Back;

great grandchildren, Eric Rocha, Aaron Rocha, Sabrina Ortiz, Jayden Ramirez, Evangelina Reese, Adam Holder, Zoey Holder, Zachary Medina, Samantha Reese, and Scarlett Medina; brother, Julio Fonseca; sister, Mary Helen Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elijah Reese, Justin Garcia, Alex Garcia, Erik Astorga, Eric Rocha, and Aaron Rocha.
