Cynthia Marie Blunt

Cynthia Marie Blunt, 58 years of age, of Houston, Tx passed away from this earth and went on to Heaven on July 18, 2015 at 10:16pm. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 16, 1957 to parents Rosa Lee Ruth Blunt and Romer Blunt Sr. Cynthia graduated from John McDonald Sr. High School. She later in life found herself back in the school system working for Langston Hughes Elementary School, to which her youngest daughter Ashley attended at the time. She was survived by daughter Chanel Blunt, grandchildren Jaelyn and Janai Blunt, and sisters Dian Blunt, Helen Robertson Blunt, brothers; Romer Blunt, Edward Blunt, and Stanley Blunt and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Romer Blunt, Sr.. her brother Clarence Blunt, her mother Rosa Lee Ruth Blunt, and her daughter who recently passed away in April of 2015. We little knew that morning; God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
