Dale Yvonne Ward, born August 4, 1940 to Wesley and Essie Smith in Pineland, Texas, passed away November 22, 2012 in Houston. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Monroe Ritter and Helen Pierce, and by her beloved husband, Willie Earl Ward and son, John Wesley Ward. She is survived by her son, William Ward and wife, Laura; granddaughter, Jessica Ward-Jayroe and husband, Joseph; great-granddaughter, Haidenly Jayroe; sister, Geraldine Jacks; daughter-in-law, Brenda Ward, and by other family and friends.
Mrs. Ward was a two-time past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She was dearly loved by the families of the many people she cared for over the years as a healthcare provider in her own home.
