Daniel Gutierrez Sr. (Dan) went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, to Oscar Sr. and Olga Gonzalez Gutierrez on September 12, 1955. He was one of six children who grew up near downtown Houston on the north side.
From an early age, he showed signs of his entrepreneurial nature, worked hard and eventually started his photography side business in his early 20’s and went full time with it by the late 80’s naming it Dimensions by Dan. He added the limousine service in 1997 and eventually phased out the photography side and grew his vehicle fleet. His business served everyone from thousands of families to politicians and celebrities but no matter who the customer, great service and professionalism were always his top priority. He sold the majority of his business by 2024 and entered into semi-retirement.
Dan loved his work but truly loved God and his family more. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved and gave with all his heart and touched many lives in positive ways. Dan had many great friendships and anyone who really knew him, knew he loved Elvis. He loved singing, whether to a loved one, in his car, with a group of mariachis singing Vicente Fernandez or to a crowd at karaoke where Elvis songs were always at the top of the list. Making people smile, which he did with his singing, his jokes and his humor, made him smile.
He will be missed more than words can say.
