Daryl Dean Sims, beloved son, brother and friend to everyone he knew, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 47. He was born May 16, 1966 to Jimmy and Sandra Sims in Houston, Texas. His passions were hunting, fishing and photography and he was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Spring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berton and Vada Burke and Martha and Clifford Sims. He is survived by parents, Jimmy and Sandy Sims, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Debbie Sims, as well as hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with Bro. Ray Knowles, officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
