Dennis was born to Clement Kronenberger and Margaret L. Hale Kronenberger, December 15th, 1941, in Houston Tx.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Junette Ruby Kronenberger and his daughter Deanna, her husband David and two grandchildren Danielle and Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his father Clem Kronenberger, and mother Margaret L. Hale.
He honorably served 4 years in the United States Airforce, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Additionally, he received numerous awards during his service. He was always commended on his outstanding work ethic.
Dennis retired as an Avionics Manager at BeechCraft. During his time there, he was awarded Top Gun, which speaks to his pride in his work and diligence in his efforts. In addition, he worked for decades at Raytheon and Continental Radio Hobby Airport. Dennis also enjoyed working at Texas Speed, where he made some special friends. Along with his love for avionics and electronics, he also enjoyed all aspects of cars, trucks, even motorcycles. Being a HAM Radio Operator was another way he connected with people and enjoyed spending his time. He loved his family, all things electronic, all types of music, all of his pets, working on his classic roadster, and his many family trips to Disney World Florida. While at Disney, or anywhere, you could find him behind a VHS Camcorder, with a camera around his neck as well. To give back to his community, in his final years, he volunteered at Seam Thrift Store repairing donated electronics. While there, he again made special friends…Dennis never met a stranger.
He will be most remembered for his quick wit and amazing humor…included with the best facial expressions and sound effects. He would laugh to the point of tears to the goofiest of jokes, George Carlin being his favorite of comedians. His intelligence and mentorship were also among some of his amazing qualities. Some of the unique things he enjoyed were 1970’s type memorabilia such as lava lamps, vintage electronics, all things Disney, Star Wars, and Science Fiction. He named his black truck Darth Vader, and one of his favorite sci-fi movies was Alien. All kinds of music from rock, to jazz, to 80’s, and classical were more of his many joys in life. His love for synthesizers was discovered when he heard Micheal Iceberg perform at Disney. Of course, this music had to be enjoyed with the loudest vintage audio gear available, ensuring the neighbors could appreciate his passion for music as well…the walls had to shake. He loved to keep his hands and mind busy with having the ability to fix anything and everything that needed repair. He could spend hours on his computer, as his interest into the future and advances in technology was up there with his love of music. He took pride in being a Houston Oiler fan, yet had recently taken to the Kansas City Chiefs. In his uniqueness, he gave all his family members special nicknames, such as Monk, Hoss, Stinker, and Momoo to name a few. His friends were also very special to him…as they were even adorned with nicknames.
Our beloved Dad enjoyed life and lived it large. He was very loved by all who were fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
