Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about your dad.  I attended a funeral service today for another family friend and saw your dad's announcement.  I know we haven't seen each other in 25 years.  I still remember the wonderful memories we had - your family was so wonderful to me.

We the members of Space City T's mourn Don's passing. We were blessed all the many years he was with us.

He was a man of few words but he had the ability to assess the situation and arrive at a proper conclusion. His 1912 Touring is a testament to his restoration abilities.
I will always be grateful for his help and and advice with my 1925 Model T.
Our prayers go out to Sohpie and all of Don's family.

Sophie and family.....I know that Don will be greatly missed. I enjoyed the pictures and the video at the viewing. Don and his family are certainly loved from the large number of people at the viewing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Nancy & Family, 

Russ & I are so sorry to hear about your Dad.  Although it is so hard to let him go, we can rest in the knowledge he is no longer suffering or in pain.  His legacy will live on and as time passes, the pain of his loss will be replaced with the fond memories of his time with you.  Think of the ultimate joy he experienced with his model T and how you and Dave have come to love that very part of him.  Everytime you two take off on one of those road trips in the 'old' model T you will smile and remember the wonderful Dad you had.  
We love you and are praying for God's peace and comfort during this time.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. He was a legend in the Antique car clubs and a GREAT friend to everyone. You both were/are a joy to be around.  It was a pleasure knowing Don.  Don and you, Sophie are a big part in the Space City T Club.  It is a pleasure to know Nancy and David and Ted.  Thanks for introducing them to the T world.  Don will always be in our thoughts and he will be looking down on us on all of our tours. Look out Ted.  Keep that Brass shiney.  He will be watching.  Love to all of you.

Aunt Sophie, Ted, Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Don was a great Uncle and I really looked up to him. I have always been very proud to call him my Uncle. I will always hold the time I spent with him close to my heart. He was my dad's best man and I have always seen why Pop picked him. Gods Blessing to all of the Adcock Family.

Sophie, I am Proud to say I had a Friend like Don, After watching the pictures I see that I only knew a part of the Man. Don invited me to my 1st Space City T club meeting and that led to a lot of good friends. We will all miss his smile. The picture I sent is one of my favorates, I know how Happy he was to go to the 100th Anniversary of the Model T.

Uncle Don was an incredible man.  I will never forget his face as he drove his model T, the way he made each of grandma and grandpa Adcocks grandkids feel special on holidays, and his wonderful video camera that captured each of us growing up.  He was a special man and I will miss him very much.

Dear Sweet Sophie and Family,

We are so sorry for your sadness today. You two are certainly very special people to us!  We have been blessed to have known and loved you both. 

A special time we remember is when you two stayed with us in our RV out in the middle of the Cranes' pasture. What a fun time we had! We got to really get to know you instead of being a casual acquaintance at car club activities.

We will see Don again on those streets of gold!  We love you!

I am so sorry about your loss.  Your daddy is up in heaven and will always remain in your hearts forever.  I know what a special father and person he was because his life is reflected through Nancy.  Will always think of him whenever I see a Model T or see any act of kindness and love.  Much love to your family.  Rely on God's strength and He'll carry you through the grieving, He did it for me. Robert and I are so sorry to hear that you have lost Don after his long and brave struggle.  We understand the joy in your heart that he is no longer suffering.  We knew that when we left for the summer, we would probably get this sad news.  We also knew this meant we would not be able to pay our respects in person.  But know that you are all in our hearts during this time.

Our memories are so strong and so deep.  Don was an integral part of the ‘antique car’ world for us.  He taught me how to crank a Model T!  He gave invaluable advice to Robert on any number of subjects.  Of course, he also got Robert and Daddy into the movies!  Who would have thought my daddy could be a movie star in is 80’s.  Don’s wit, humor and good nature plus his many acts of kindness will live on in all our hearts and minds.

P.S.  Axel (aka Axle Grease) and Abby (aka Mud Head) were fortunate to have alias given them by this very special man.
