I do send a condolence but have a family story some may find interesting. My son was playing golf at Hilctest Country Club in Bartlesville Oklahoma. Several trees had to be removed on the golf course. While looking for a lost Golf ball he found a custom engraved golf ball that c was only produced from 1926 to 1930. The ball belonged to Frank Neptune. We now have Frank Neptunes lost ball from almost 100 years ago. If family reads this, would they like Franks golf ball?

Don was a very special friend to our family during his time in Royden Oaks. We greatly missed his presence in the neighborhood but wished him the best in his retirement. Always helpful and always a gentleman. Our daughter, a pre teen at the time thought the world of him. “He was sooo nice”

Don served as the senior constable for Royden Oaks for almost 20 years, and I had the privilege of working with him.   Everyone  in the subdivision knew and loved him. He stopped and talked to everyone!!! At his retirement ceremony at the station, I told all the officers there that his replacement had big shoes to fill - Don knew the names of all the dogs in Royden Oaks - which was very true. 

Don was a good and kind person.  My thoughts and prayers are with Judy and her family. 

Had the pleasure for getting to know Don and Judy through our involvement at Church. We worked together  on the Cursillo Team in the mid 90’s .

Got  to see a great leader in action as he kept things moving forward throughout the weekend.

Will surely miss him and know he  will be missed by so many that their lives were touched by him

Barry, I am sad to hear of your father’s passing.  I still remember the last time I had a chance to talk with him.  Somehow, I discovered that he and your mom lived in the same neighborhood as my parents.   One time when I saw that he was in the front yard, I stopped to say “hello” before heading to my parents’ house.  We spent a few minutes chatting about days from long ago and also about you and your family.  It was really nice to catch up with him.

Hard to imagine life without Baboo in it. It’s never easy to lose a parent at any age. But we know he’s rejoicing at the throne of our sweet Jesus. It’s not “goodbye”, it’s “see you later” to a Christian.  Soon and very soon we will all be there with those gone before us and loving on Jesus. 
My prayers are with mom, and you kids and your families. So grateful you all got the time you had with him at Christmas. God was gracious!!  I’m here if you need anything!

We met Don & Judy when we were all members of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Don served as Senior Warden
and on the Vestry. He always had a smile on his face, was a great listener, and a wonderful story teller.  Don was the "DingAling" at our Cursillo in 1993, and he and Judy were team members on several other Cursillos, spreading the love of Jesus.   He had a deep and strong faith in God.  And he was a wonderful caretaker of his beloved Judy and his family. We were blessed to call Don our friend, and we will miss you. 

It is hard to imagine that Don's sweet smile and gentle spirit are gone from our earthly sight. As believers we know that he has made his way to heaven and the safety of God's loving arms. Adjusting to daily life without him will take time and prayers which God gives in such abundance. I feel so blessed to have shared laughter, worship and Christian companionship with the whole family. My prayers are hovering over all of you as you take the first steps on this holy journey.
