Edith Louise Morrill

Edith Louise Morrill entered this world on July 20, 1920 and went to her heavenly home to meet her Savior on April 30, 2011. She was met there by her parents, Fred and Nettie Fluellen, husband, Fordyce "Harpo" Morrill, beloved son Fred Morrill and infant son Thomas Craig Morrill. She leaves behind to love & cherish her memory five generations of loved ones; her daughter Barbara Chambers and husband Donald Joe Chambers, her son Fordyce "Bud" Morrill and wife Jennifer and daughter-in-law Gloria Morrill. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Melanie Moon and husband Cecil, Melinda Fitzhenry and husband Gene, Melissa Herman and husband Mark, Michael Morrill and wife Jodi, Michele Tormo, Jennifer Morrill, Cori Cerly and husband Jason, Kacie Smith and husband John, and Neil Morrill; Thirteen great-grandchildren and soon to be six great-great grandchildren.

Edith served her Lord faithfully as church secretary at Memorial Baptist Church for forty nine years. She also taught children's Sunday School for over fifty years. She was an avid Houston Rocket fan and could tell you anything about professional basketball.Visitation will be Thursday, May 5th from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Earthman Resthaven. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m., Memorial Baptist Church, 22333 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, Texas 77379.
