Eleanor was born December 18, 1932 in Houston, TX to Albert Helms, Sr. and Myrtle Ruth Johnson Helms. She married Hollis Allison Martin on March 1, 1949.
She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband (honey), brother, Albert Helms, Jr., and grandson, Geno Potts.
Left to cherish her memory are her five (5) children, Sandy Rogers, Brenda Bredehoeft and husband Jerry, Darrell Martin and wife Linda, James Martin and wife Joni, Teresa Williams and husband Ken.
She was affectionately known as Mamaw to her ten (10) grandchildren, Carrie, Jennifer, William, Jeremy, Kristen, Jessica, Amanda, Melissa, Ashlie and Michael. She was also blessed with seventeen (17) great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and anyone who was fortunate to cross her path.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 4-8 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
