ELEANOR LA VONNE OLSON possessed magnificent and overwhelming faith in the promise of her Lord Jesus Christ; I go to prepare a place for you (John 14:2). This precious faith was a controlling factor on her life, and was most evident as she taught the Bible for 4 and 5 years of classes for many years, and them conducting her life according to that which she taught. She was a member of the Channel View Church of Christ. La Vonne was born September 2, 1923 and passed away October 9th, 10:30 p.m. at the age on 87. She loved people, especially the sick and home bound; for years mailing sox to eight cards a week. This unique love and influence will be greatly missed by many.Survivors, Clarence, her husband of 53 years. Sons: Steven and wife Monica; John (Tommy) and friend Ann Bates. Grandchildren: Steven, Jr. and Olivia. Sister-in-laws: Beth Dennis and Peggy Dennis. Brother-in-law: Fred and wife Ann: Charles and wife Delores. Many nephews and nieces and other relatives. Health Care Provider: Jo Ann Prices.Through the years, La Vonne showed deep affection for her many cats and dogs. In later years was extremely found of birds which build nest in her many back yard bird houses. One group of houses named "Nesterville, Texas and another community named "Flutterville, Texas."Her funeral and burial will be at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale on October 13th at 3:00p.m. The burial will follow immediately following the chapel services, the family will welcome friends for the viewing on October 12the, between 5:00 and 8:00 pm.Any donations in lieu of flowers are requested for be sent to Westbury Christian School, 10424 Hillcroft 77096, Houston Texas of to World Video Bible School, 25 lantana Lane, Maxwell, Texas 78656-4231.
