Elizabeth “Liz” Niette Welch, 86, of Houston, TX, passed away on May 2, 2018. She was born in Spanish Lake, LA on February 18, 1932, to Peter and Mamie Niette.

Liz is survived by her husband, Marshall Welch; sons, Allan Flores, and Greg Flores; step-son, Rodney Welch; step-daughter, Marsha Brumley and husband Chris; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an avid fan of professional sports, and loved the outdoors and fishing.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Heights Funeral Home from 4-7 PM, with the Rosary being recited at 6 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held the following morning at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
