Elvira De La Cruz, 96, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 22, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Frank De La Cruz, and daughter Beatrice Aguilar. Also preceded in death by her brother’s and sister’s: Ruth Castillo, Sara Munoz, Johnny Diaz, Lupe Arellano, Porfirio Diaz, Gonzalo Zermeno, and Joe Cruz Diaz.
Elvira is survived by her loving children: Sylvia Martinez and husband Bobby; Gilbert De La Cruz and wife Virginia; Yvonne Sifuentes and husband Ralph; Patricia Tijerina and husband Chris Edwards. Grandchildren: Robert Martinez and wife Irma; Ronald Martinez and wife Adrienne; Adrian De La Cruz and wife Sherry; Jason De La Cruz and wife Lelia; Rachelle Sifuentes; Cara Olmsted and husband Greg; Benito Tijerina; and Frank Tijerina and wife Carla. Also survived by great grandchildren: Bianca, Gabriela, Diego, Bruno, Luca, Hayden, Braden, Bryce, Peyton, Daniella, Dylan, Kinsley, Mia, Luke, and Kolton.
Serving as pallbearers in Elvira’s honor will be, Robert Martinez, Ronald Martinez, Benito Tijerina, Frank Tijerina, Jason De La Cruz, Adrian De La Cruz.
