She was born in Alpine, Texas on January 4, 1941. Ermelinda attended Stephen F. Austin High School and cosmetology school.
She worked as a patient coordinator and Spanish interpreter at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston’s Medical Center.
Ermelinda was a stunning Texas beauty who loved to cook, sew and dance. She would ballroom dance during her younger years and later turned that passion to country western dancing. She was known for toting a bumper sticker: "Shut Up and Dance."
After Ermelinda retired, she enjoyed traveling from Texas to California quite often with her beloved fur baby companion, a long-haired Chihuahua named Tiger.
She is survived by her three children, Elisa Silva Brauer, Leopoldo Juarez, and Linda Robotham. Her grandchildren, Forrest Denio, Aulden Juarez, Logan Juarez, Liam Robotham, Adam Robotham, and Alex Robotham. Her son-in-law Kenneth Brauer, daughter-in-law Dalana Juarez, and granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Denio.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:00 am with a graveside to follow at 11:00 am at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
