Eugene passed peacefully from this life the morning of August 21st after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life. Eugene was born in Temple, Oklahoma and his family moved to Houston, Texas when he was 9 years of age. He graduated from Milby High School in 1953 and studied at University of Houston Class of 1957.
To name just a few of his greatest joys in life: marrying the love of his life Donna Gail in January of 1975 and his children, stepdaughter, granddaughter, grandson, and step grandson. Some of his fondest memories were the family gatherings at Lake Livingston Lakehouse. He and Donna enjoyed traveling and Eugene enjoyed fishing and hunting. Eugene was the top of his profession and loved to talk shop with his AC friends and colleagues. Eugene was very much his own man but had a sharp witty sense of humor. He will be missed deeply.
Eugene is survived by his five children, Larry Glasgow, Sherry Parker, Karen Glasgow, Jennifer Pollak, and Fran Brents, along with stepdaughter Shanda Beasley. Eugene is also survived by his granddaughter, Sadie Shields Parker and step-grandson Joshua Ford. His nephews. Bruce Glasgow, Kipp Glasgow, Kirk Glasgow, Roger Glasgow and niece, Julie Glasgow Mote. Eugene is also survived by his life-long best friend and trusted confidante Mike Elsner.
