Mrs. Evelyn (Yarborough) Hunt

Evelyn Yarborough was born on November 9, 1949, a beautiful daughter born to Mr. Clyde Yarborough, Sr. and Mrs. Lula Mae Yarborough. Evelyn Yarborough was born in Gulfport, Mississippi and was the third of eight children.

Evelyn graduated from Kashmere Senior High School in 1967. After school, she then went on to work for Republic Bank Houston in addition to her building her beautiful family.

In 1968 at the early age of 19, Evelyn married Theordore Winston Williams, and to this union was born Trevaia and Yumeka.

Evelyn planted her faith as a seed and it continued to sprout as all of her children and grandchildren have also dedicated their lives to Christ from the seeds she planted many years ago at Lakewood Church.

Later in life she married Mr. Ronnie Hunt.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Yarborough, Sr., her mother, Mrs. Lula Mae Bolton, and her oldest brother Clyde Yarborough Jr., and by her sisters Shirley Sargent and Belinda Morehead.

Evelyn leaves to cherish in her loving memory two children, Trevaia Williams-Davis, and Yumeka Williams-Marshall; grandchildren, Tavia Marshall, Mia Marshall, Isaac Davis, Jayden Davis, and Arie Marshall; sisters: Dorothy Murdock; brothers: Frank Yarborough, Larry Yarborough and Rufus Yarborough; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whose lives she touched dearly.
