Felicia Lynn Burton

Felicia Lynn Burton was born June 12, 1975 to the union of Wilton Clyde Burton Sr. and Vera Lee Burton. She was previously a member of Mt. Corinth Baptist Church located in Fresno, TX. where she was under the leadership of Pastor Tom Burton Jr. She was also baptized here at an early age. She later joined Second Pleasant Green under the leadership of Pastor Nathan Blocker Sr .She last attended Crossroads Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Christopher F. Hartwell. Felicia grew up in Sugar Valley located in southeast Houston. She received her early education from J.R. Reynolds Elementary ,Carter G. Woodson, and graduated with honors from Evan E. Worthing H.S. She attended Texas Southern University, and later pursued her studies in Health Care at St. Thomas University in which she received her certification in Medical Billing & Coding. She worked diligently as a retail manager at several department stores. In addition to the Wortham Theater Center. Family and friends would agree that Felicia was strong in faith, humorous, kind hearted, with a loving spirit . Her doctor quoted that she had a smile that could melt your heart. She was a caregiver to her nieces and nephews, and God mother to Aniyah Green. Felicia leaves to cherish memories with her father and mother, Mr. Wilton & Mrs. Vera Burton. As well as her nine siblings Paula A. Smith, Quintin B. Carr, Charlotte Y. McKinney-Burton, Wilton C. Burton Jr. , Ruby J. Allen, Carol A. Burton, Donald W. Burton, Jacqueline L. Burton, Jonathan J. Burton(Jon B.), and a hosts of family and friends.
