

Frank Charles Crawford was born on February 9, 1941 to the late Jim and Ruth Crawford in Wheelock, TX. Frank was the oldest of 4 children. In 1945 the family moved to Houston, TX where he grow up in the Clinton Park Neighborhood. He attended Clinton Park Elementary, E.O Smith Jr. High and graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School. He attended Southwestern University where he received a degree in Business Accounting. Later, he received a degree in Environmental Health from Texas A&M University. In 1985 he attended Harris County Constable Academy and received a Texas Peace Officer Certificate. After 12 years of service, he retired from the Constable’s Department.
Frank was a faithful member of Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C. where he became an ordained Deacon. Frank encouraged and mentored so many, he was loved by all. He could hold a conversation with anyone and gained their trust. He was a devoted husband, loving father and an involved grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife,Johnnie; his sons, Frank Jr. (Debbie), Der¬rick; daughter, Tynikka; step-daughters, Vanessa and Dannette; grandchildren, Zedrick, Jeremiah, Tangakita, Calandre, Endia, Rylan, Evan, Peyton, Lawryn, Quentin Jr. and Jamaris; Seven great-grandchildren; one brother, J.C. Crawford; two sisters, Jean Wallace, Carlon Crawford, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
