Gail Ann Gregory

Gail Gregory, beloved mother to two children, proud grandmother to four and devoted wife, of Houston Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on March 10, 2025, following a courageous struggle with cancer.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Cleoris Ozelle McGee, and cherished siblings Larry McGee, Theresa Wilson and Michael McGee. She is survived by husband Donald Gregory, daughter Amanda and Brian Munk, son Nathan and Lindsay Gregory, grandchildren Mary, Ashlyn, Weston and Archer, sisters Mary Williams and Linda Skrivanek, and many nieces and nephews.

Gail attended Christ the King grade school, and graduated high school from St. Pius X in 1966. She later graduated from Massey Business School. She went to work for Texaco in the credit department, married and started a family. After retirement from Texaco, she focused on her family for some time before going to work at St. Ambrose Catholic School, where she performed a number of roles before retirement from the school.

Gail loved and doted on all God’s children, but her pride and joy were her four grandchildren. When her attention wasn’t toward them, she loved reading novels by James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell and cheering on the Astros. In her later years of retirement, she enjoyed a simple morning of drinking coffee while watching the news and a few cooking shows.

Gail was a true angel. A big heart, always loved and never judged people. Our hearts are broken. Life will not be the same.

A rosary service for Gail will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd, Houston, TX 77092. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4213 Mangum Rd, Houston, TX 77092. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
