Gayle Marentay Kluck, 74, went to be with her Holy Father on January 14, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Gayle was also blessed (although she may argue that) with eight siblings.
Gayle was the proud mother of her two children, Carrie and Dan, and her beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Lizzie, Lance, Carson, Amberlee and her great granddaughter, Skylar.
Gayle had many simple loves in life - gardening, music, a great crossword, her morning cup of coffee, baking in the kitchen. However, what brought her the greatest joy was family – especially her grandchildren. She found endless happiness in their laughter and achievements. She loved them deeply and she was always quick to share their latest stories with all who knew her. Pictures and special mementos of them filled her heart and her home.
Gayle was born in Michigan and even after moving away, it remained her favorite place to be. There was nothing that brought more peace to her gentle soul than sitting on the shores of one of the Great Lakes in a sunhat watching the waves.
She will be deeply missed by her family and will forever be in our hearts.
A service for her family will be held on Sunday, January 19th at Waltrip Funeral Home in Houston, TX.
