Gilbert Tello Sr.

Gilbert Tello, Sr., 90, surrounded by his loving family passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Deer Park, Texas. He was born August 22, 1927 in Houston, Texas to Jesus and Elodia Tello. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Mary Pena Tello and his siblings, Herlinda Tello, Gloria Tello, Jesse Tello, Adelina Hinojosa and Alfred Tello. Gilbert is survived by his children to cherish his memories, Gilbert Tello, Jr. and his wife Sandra, Elizabeth Ramos and her husband David, Gloria Aranda and her husband Joe, Cynthia Rodriguez (+Enrique); 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Connie Contreras, Rudy Tello, Hortense Flores, Armand Tello, Pauline Tello and Roy Tello. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with Navy Honors.
