Gregorio Machado Jr., 80, of Willis, Texas, was born March 23, 1945, in Melvin, Texas, and passed away on February 21, 2026. He will be remembered as a devoted, steadfast, and kind man whose presence meant comfort and strength to those who knew him.
Gregorio found quiet joy in simple pleasures. His favorite hobby was putting jigsaw puzzles, and he also enjoyed watching old western movies. Most of all, he treasured spending time with his little sister, Ana—moments that reflected the warmth of his heart and the value he placed on family.
Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on March 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on March 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on March 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Gregorio is survived by his daughter, Diann Machado Gonzales; his brothers, Stanley Machado and Victor Machado; his sisters, Amelia Machado Guzman and Ana Maria Machado; his grandchildren, Krystalina M. Garcia, Thomas David Garcia (Rebecca), Patricia A. Castro, David Gregory Machado, and Victoriana Machado; and his great-grandchildren, Adrian E. Lozano, Aries Alexis Lozano, Aurora Josephine Wheat, Isaac M. Garcia, David Xavier Garcia, and Amani Aurora Garcia.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Josephine Diaz Machado; his son, David Machado; his father, Gregorio Machado, Sr; his mother, Victoriana Ruiz Machado; his brother, Raymond Machado; and his sister, Dominga Gauna.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Garcia, Michael Machado, Sr., Michael Machado, Jr., Michael Gustavus, Kevin Parson, and Jose Melgar, Jr.
