Gregory O'Brien

Gregory O'Brien was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on April 20, 1968. He was born to Merlin Mouton and Jessica O'Brien. Greg attended Henderson Elementary, Fleming Middle and Wheatley High School. Greg met his devoted wife Tarsha Murchinson 23 years ago and they were united in marriage on June 14,1997 by the late O.C. Johnson. He loved to cut hair, cook and entertain family and friends. Greg was baptized on May 3,1998 and was a member of Bread of Life Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Harris. He loved the Lord, he was a person who would take care of you before himself. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Victoria O'Brien, Lercy O'Brien, Versey Broussard Mouton and James Mouton; brother: Derrick O'Brien, nephew: Derrick Milliam O'Brien; mother-in-law: Ruth Murchinson. He leaves to cherish his memory devoted and lovely wife: Tarsha O'Brien; Mother Jessica O'Brien, father: Merlin Mouton; children: Charity O'Brien, Rodrick Thomas, Rashelle Thomas and Victoria O'Brien; grandchildren: Kendrick Pride, Kennedi Pride, Jaylen Lockett and Collin Jackson; brothers: Merlin Mouton,Jr., Jude Mouton, Ivory "Dee Dee" Harris, Alfred Gamble and Oshea Mouton; father-in-law: Sturling Murchison, brother-in-law: David Murchison; nephews: Derrick O'Brien,Jr.,Dominique Murchison, Deatrick Murchison and David Murchison Jr., neices: Diamond O'Brien, Bria O'Brien and Obresha O'Brien; godchildren: Briana Bryant, Paige Olaye, Deluna Brown, Kiara Riser and Kaissay Hurtado; best friend: Maine Neal and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
